I can't believe that I'm actually back on here! It was the weirdest thing that was going on with the account... For the longest time I couldn't post anything, review or cry for help. But I can post now, for the gods of Newgrounds have shined forgiveness down on the poor soul that is me and have fixed whatever it was that was wrong! Also, the fact that my laptop got the BSOD for about 8-10 months didnt help out all that much... fml

So, I'm back to review more stuff again! starting off with the things that were sent in to me! (all 1 of them... :( send more!)

I also think that the reason that I was cut off from the area was bcause of the weekly review thing. So, quite frankly, to hell with that. I'll just do the reviews when I want to as many times as I want to, like I did before. However, if there are things sent to me, then I will gladly take the time to review them and give my not-so-expert opinion of them.

Hey, people out there!

I'm gonna try and do something a little different from now on.

I realize now that most people on the face of the earth have horrible taste in music, or at least only listen to things that Other people are listening to (ex. Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, Brittany Spears, J-Lo, and whatever kids nowadays listen to. lol)

SO what I plan on doing is instating my own Weekly Best of only the good stuff that's good not because everyone listens to it, but instead because of the fact that it is an epic song, or at least a song of epic proportions.

So what does this have to do with Newgrounds? Simply put, most people here (not to insult anyone's tastes) ALSO have no taste of music besides the "Best of All Time" list (which changes hands too much to really Be for all time) So what I plan to do here is pick someone from HERE as well.

To sum it up, I'll pick two of my favorite songs from both the selection here as well as the professional world.

I think I'll start today. But I will do the rest from here on out every Monday.

Got it!

First, from Newgrounds: "It Begins...Again!" by thatcomposerguy

This song I especially enjoy. I find it a good, old-timey song, as well as having one of the best loops that I have ever heard. I believe it was from... something, but I can't put my finger on it. Ah well, just listen to it and find out for yourself. Worth it!

Next, from the professional world: "Crush of Love (Dave Martone)" by Dave Martone.

This is a remake of a song done by another guitar genius, Joe Satriani. Dave martone overall is an unusual guitarist, creating a combination of heavy grunge metal and jazz music to create something most everyone will enjoy. Also, the way he masterfully pulls off the song is just worth it all in all. Listen and enjoy!

Hey, everyone that cares enough to read anything I type here!

I have decided to single out (mainly, of course!) what I look at on the site here. I will look at the occasional flash, but my heavy intrest is in the audio portal. So I shall attempt to become a Music critic... thing... and stuff. So, if you people have anything that you want an honest oppinion of, or you just want to show me a good song or two, send it over here in a private message or attached to this post, and I'll review it for you.

Now, I know that not a lot of people know about me, so here's what I attempt to do. Every time I RATE a flash movie or game, I shall write a FULL review of any audio piece that I see as being worth the time. And if I get enough recognition, I will try to DOUBLE the number of reviews for Audio works, along with all of the things I get from you out there. I already had one person send me their work, so I know you know me. And, as an added bonus, I will try to review TRIPLE the amount of things here if I get enough people sending me things, along with the things they send me! Just to get the name "Straightjaketman" out there. And I'm being completely serious with all of this (however, I may not be on all of the time, so this deal will be, obviously voided if it comes to a time that I cannot get onto a computer. And, of course, it may take me a while to get to everyone (IF anyone) and I can't get to everyone at the moment people send it, so be patient, and you will see me soon enough!)

So, a review:
--I will make a full review of a work in the Audio section for every time I RATE (not review, but just RATE) a Flash piece.
--I will DOUBLE the amount of reviews I write if I get enough recognition.
--I will TRIPLE the total number of Reviews I make for every piece that I get sent (or at least, attempt to) not including the one sent to me.
--And, if such an occasion arrises... nawww, that can wait a while.
--Odds are, I will run out of GOOD material soon, if this is the case, so keep making them, and I'll keep writing them up (or down. lol, mostly up, though.)

What's up, fellow Newgrounds members? Glad to be here. Just signed on, and wish to cause no harm in my travels on the site.

I'm a bit of a music geek myself, so I'll probably be found around the Audio portal (odds are, that's how you found me in the first place 0-0) So I'll also see about getting a great music-maker for my laptop, and I'll try to make my ideas known. However, more-often-than-not, I'll need a bit of...assistance (if it works). Pretty much, I'm a collaborator when it comes to my music. I often times work with other people for, say, PUNK_O_MATIC to finish a song. Or I just get some inspiration from another persons piece. However which way you look at it, I take any and all seriously (until you leave, then I start laughing at the ones that deserve it) And will try to incorporate it into a piece.

So far, my biggest accomplishment is in the art of PUNK_O_MATIC, so I'll post my codes here in my next message. But, getting back to me...It so far seems great to be here, and I'll try to get the music-maker soon. Any suggestions to good, preferably cheap (in cost, not in quality) music-making downloads, make a post. And thanks for having me.
